Drafting leaves, laurels and quote cards

I've missed so much doing arts and crafts. I never got to do a lot of it in the past year. I'm glad I have some time to spare to do some drafts recently. I've been looking up tutorials on drawing wreathes and laurels and ways on combining modern calligraphy with watercolor.

Coloring and writing the words are the best part. It feels like I'm in art class all over again. :)

Last Look: Singapore

I took one last look at the golden hour at Marina Barrage. I think it's one of the best places to catch the lovely warmth of the afternoon sun, inhale the clean air while watching hundreds of kites fly above you. As the sun set one more time, it bathed the horizon with beautiful crimson hues. It is simple beauty you need to experience when you get the chance to visit Singapore. It's best to dedicate a free afternoon, just being there and taking in all the view.

Nearby are popular spots, the Gardens by the Bay, which you shouldn't miss. The architecture is so grand and unique, as are most structures in Singapore are. The Gardens include the Supertree Grove which looks so special at night when all the colorful lights dance with soothing music for a 15-minute light show.

It's sad to leave this much beauty behind, but there are choices to be made in life that requires us to move forward. Most, if not all things in this world are temporary and all we can do is take in as much of it as we can while it's still in front of us.

Here are some (or so many) of my favorite spots. All photos were shot with Nikon dslr.
