Postcard recieved from Postcrossing.com

A few days ago, i received my first random postcard from someone else who's also registered at Postcrossing. A few weeks earlier, i sent my first postcard as well to a girl in Taiwan. Soon, i'll send another one.

Here's a snapshot of the postcard i received. It's from a girl in Japan named Miwa. It shows a photo of the Tokyo Tower and a short note from her. As a bonus, i got two beautiful stamps from Japan to add to my collection.

first prints from film

The reason why i actually had these printed was because i wanted to see how another photo lab processed this roll of film. And it turned out the colors in these prints were way better than the digital photos processed by the previous lab. So i'm now switching, even though it is slightly more expensive. I will have three other rolls of films reprocessed.

Minolta SRT 101 Test Roll

Here are photos from my first roll using my Minolta SRT 101 with a Fujicolor Superia X-tra 400 roll. I think it's newly expired but i can't remember the expiration date. Anyway, glad to see that some shots that i expected to be underexposed came out pretty nice, just enough illumination at the center of the frame. I had this processed in another photo lab.
