Hand-painted buri pouches
This batch of painting was somewhat a challenge in terms of color choice. These pouches were already dyed with a certain color combination when I purchased them. I had to choose another set of colors to complement the existing ones which really has to make the design pop-out.
Here I'm using acrylic paint and sealed with acrylic spray. For each bag, I decided to include a little "care" card which says how to care for the bag design which is important to make the bags last a bit longer.
It can fit a mobile phone, folded bills, coins, keys and/or lipstick.

{ Krafted } Wax Seal Stamps for Salt and Bleach
This is a wax seal stamp I designed for photographer Salt and Bleach. I'm very happy the engraving turned out well done. I was concerned that the elements were too fine that this order would have been a complete waste. But yes, here it is! This would go perfect with his packaging style!

{ Krafted } Hand-painted wood slices
Wood slices are great canvases for calligraphy or any painting project. I managed to acquire a few pieces of these from the local department store. They're made of nice and smooth type of wood and a great natural wood color. I was torn between painting over them with other colors or just directly add calligraphy. For this batch, I decided to add colors. Next time I'm planning to do sunset and galaxy scapes.
These objects are small and are best used as coasters or desk paper weights. They can serve as decorative pieces to your desk or shelf by putting them on a mini plate stand or a tiny wooden easel.

Sharing this as my first time to use gouache on canvas and I'm so happy with the result! If watercolor and acrylic had a a child, it would be gouache. It's not as popular as watercolor but I love working with it especially that I've always had a love/hate relationship with acrylic. I want to use it more often!
This piece is a gift for Mary Lauren's first birthday. What better way to celebrate life than with flowers!

By the way, I also tried it on black painted wood. Needed to reapply another coat to keep it opaque. But overall it's great. I feel my brush "freer" with gouache.

{ Krafted } Matte Pin Badges
I'm now stocking up on items to sell and coming up with new ideas for merchandise. I'm planning to sell my items in a concept store in Cebu. Button pins are quite a nice way to showcase my designs so here they are! I'm very excited about these badges because they're matte. I usually see the glossy ones but these are really nice to look and feel.
I'm starting with designs of carefully selected Bible verses and my Philippine destination artworks.

Thank you, Sir
I feel sad of the passing of Papemelroti's co-founder Mr. Bienvenido Alejandro.
I don't know him personally but as the person who shared Papemelroti to the world, I'm so thankful and inspired and sad at the same time.
I grew up admiring the brand's products and was my main inspiration in so many of my projects. I dreamed of going to their story but until today, I've never visited a brick and mortar Papemelroti store. My vision today has so much to do with their style and I can only say that without it, I may have different style and aesthetics in my work and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
