Well, another year has gone but a lot of things to be thankful for. For the past year, I'd met a lot of artists and photographers who excel in their craft, got featured in an article, got a new camera and had my old one fixed, discovered and fell in love with analogue photography, and still dreaming of visiting Europe.
One of the most proficient and awesome blogs i've seen on travel and landscape photography. Every photo is stunning by photographer Allan Barredo. I wouldn't mind doing something like this for a living.
I've never been officially featured anywhere before so I'm happy to see this. It's not really a big deal but hey, It's definitely something to be thankful for. Huge thanks to the author, Ian Casocot, for including me in his series.
This was the April 14, 2012 issue of Visayan Daily Star, Bacolod City
If you have been following my blogs for quite sometime, you'll notice I have this thing for photo series. I collect all different kinds of photos that i similarly take in places and shoots i go to. My first set was my feet series, which i continue to collect until now.
Another is self-portraits taken usually in front of mirrors. Here are some i took using film.
And here are a few digital ones:
And i recently have been taking pictures of my shadow when i see it visibly on the ground. I try to be a little more creative everytime but sometimes, all you really see is just that – the shadow.
I'm thinking of more series to do. I wonder if you've noticed some photos of mine which are similar like the ones above, i could make a series out of those. Let me know if you have ideas. :)
