Perth's Grand Lane Mural by Yip Yew Chong

I inteded to find the set of murals by artist Yip Yew Chong in this small back alley (Grand Ln), which did not disappoint, and found a few others along the way. There are so many amazing murals, I couldn't catch up taking all their photos. But here I share what I found that day.

ADCD - Arts and Design Collective Dumaguete

Arts and Design Collective Dumaguete - formerly known as 58 EJ Blanco is one of the places to visit if you're in the city, whether you're just here for a few days or a local who likes a quiet but artsy vibe.

In this visit, we were in a rush so we didn't get to go inside Libraria – but when you get a chance, you must go inside the bookshop by the stairs.

Here you'll also find Ritual, a zero-waste shop, Fermentina Garden Cafe, Mister Saigon, Arts Workshop by Ms Susan Canoy and artist studios at the second floor.

At Ms Susan Canoy's art shop and studio offers a good range of art supplies and art lessons for kids and adultls

Dumaguete Cafe - Kweba Cafe

This newly-opened cafe named "Kweba" has quite a unique theme. "Kweba" is a Filipino word which means "cave." The elements of the coffee shop also align to caves, the interior has a very organic look in terracotta colors, outside is a mural art of hieroglyphics done by local artist Gerabelle Rae.

We ordered coffee and silog meals and some pastries for dessert. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would come back to try the other items in their menu.

The cafe is located at the ground floor of OK Pension House, Dumaguete City.
