Saturday night, I made sure I got to visit Alma's first solo art exhibit at El Amigo. I especially adored the clay works and the watercolor paintings. They were very realistic and detailed.
And what an honor to have an artwork named after me! She named a lot of her pieces after her friends. My favorite is that of the
tugnos (tiny fish) painting named
"Hersley" who of course is named after the amazing Dumaguete-based artist and photographer, Hersley Ven Casero.
Alma's artworks will be on display for an entire month until the end of May.
