The skydeck at Hotel Essencia holds a wonderful bird's eye view of Dumaguete. I think I've never stood at a higher place than this building so the scenic view was new to me. I shot these pictures late in the afternoon, when you can see the last few moments before the sun finally disappears behind the majestic silhouette of Mount Talinis.

The mountain looks perfect from up here. It spans its length in the horizon, an unobstructed view of her, towering over the tiny humans looking up the flawless peak.

Definitely a good sight to end the day.
