Silly Drawings

I have recently been using a couple of drawing apps mainly so I could put them to good use instead of having them sit on my iPad eating up space when I could use them for other apps. The best I have tried so far are Paper by FiftyThree and Penultimate by Evernote. The latter I was truly happy to have acquired for free after thinking of actually buying it. Paper, too, is wonderful, but it comes with the basic pen for free and more features have to be purchased (which I am also thinking of getting).

So, I went on and tried drawing simple illustrations. These are obviously not pro artist material but what I love is seeing them all in a page like I actually drew them on real notebook (if you don't already know, I love notebooks and journals). I like seeing doodles and drawings done by people event though the drawings aren't too good. I love the character that exudes from the handwriting and strokes.

Oh, and it's February. Forever and always alone on every February but I got used to it.

playing with photo effects

I came across an desktop app called Lo-Fi which adds effects to your photos, very similar to Instagram but it's not a phone app. It's sold for approx 15 bucks but you can try it out. 

I have an android phone and i also recently discovered a cool photo effects app called Pixlr-o-matic. It's pretty cool, effects are good. In my opinion, i'd say it could be a contender to Vignette App. What's even cooler is that i can also use Pixlr-o-matic online!

Cool Polaroid Generator Apps

I recently discovered this cool set of Photoshop actions in deviantArt for generating polaroid-type of pictures. These actions are called PolaGen, and you can find out more about it here.

I tried it out and here's what i got:

 

Another is a cool application you have to install on your computer. It's called Poladroid. It's also pretty cool because even though it's digital, it has sound effects like the real Polaroid camera and it also takes a few seconds to see the image as it develops in front of you.
