Rock Formations at Sabang, Palawan

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen, mainly because of the naturally formed rocks scattered all over the shores. This would probably be the first open-sea beach I've been to. The beaches i'm used to are those from having a lot of neighboring islands. The Philippines is an archipelago so shorelines are accessible almost anywhere. But the sea water in these shores easily go deep within a few meters going to the sea. In Sabang, it takes a few more length to reach deeper waters.

Aside from that, the place was very peaceful and very spacious. It's simply a marvel to be in that place, though only for a short time. We actually went there in the first place because we needed to go up the station where we take off for the zip line experience. That was not in the plan but we didn't get spots to tour Underground River so we had to do something else or just get stuck in the hotel.

I'd have to make a different post for the zip line experience. For now, I'm glad to share with you pictures of Sabang beach, Palawan. I couldn't help but feel proud that this is part of the Philippines. No wonder people have always wanted to see Palawan. It's simply a wonder of nature.

@margarette, I'm sure he'll enjoy this place. If you get the chance to visit and take pictures, best to bring a wide lens to give absolute justice to this place. :)
